Cats Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a woody vine, typically two to three inches or more in diameter, that grows in Amazonian Peru, at an elevation of 700 to 2500 meters. The extract, containing Alkaloids, is taken from the bark of the woody stem, and is used for a variety of purposes: an immune system booster; tumor inhibitor; infection fighter; and anti-inflammatory. It will also occasionally will turn grey hair back to its original color.
