Migraine headaches occur when a substancecalled serotonin is released in the body causing swelling and constriction of blood vessels in the head.
The migraine prophylactic action is thought to be due to inhibition of the release of serotonin from the platelets possible via neutralization of sulphyryl groups on specific enzymes that are fundamental to platelet aggregation and secretion. Feverfew (Tanactum Parthenium) is rich in sesquiterpene lactones, principally parthenolide. Parthenolide inhibits platelet aggregation and secretory activity in platelets and white blood cells. This inhibition of serotonin will reduce the number of migraine attacks. To prevent and reduce the severity of migraines, you must build up your blood serum level of parthenolide.

Directions
Take one to three capsules daily with water at mealtime. May be taken upto four months following the advice of your doctor.
Standarized to contain a minimum of 0.2% Parthenolide (250mcg)

May contain Microcrystalline Cellose or Di Calcium Phosphate in a capsule composed of gelatin and purified water.
