Cran-Max caplets contain cranberry extract consisting of cranberry juice concentrated powder and fibre, equivalent to 7500 mg fresh whole cranberries. Two caplets are equivalent to one 8 ounce glass of cranberry juice. This formulation is unique such that pure cranberry fibre has been infused with cranberry juice concentrate. The fibre transports the active ingredients more effectively to the intestinal tract, where they are more readily absorbed and bio-available.
The New England Journal of Medicine has recently reported that studies at the Harvard Medical School have demonstrated the positive health benefits of consuming one 8 ounce glass of cranberry juice daily. Cranberries contain many bio-active components including the anti-oxidants known as proanthocyanidins/anthocyanidins, as well as ellagic acid and many vitamins and minerals.
