|The coal tar soap would be an effective alternative to a
bath gel. Essentially, you're getting the same active
ingredient - coal tar. Many people have had success
with coal tar soap for stubborn, chronic
skin conditions. Coal tar soaps, creams,
shampoos have all been traditionally used for skin
complaints that include seborrhea,
psoriasis, and ringworm. If
you have any
kind of itchy, flaky, red or
scaly skin, coal tar soap is generally agreed to be the
best soap to pull out any toxic substances that may
indeed be the source of the irritation; actually, the
real source of many chronic skin conditions is, in fact,
inside the body where inadequate eliminations can lead to
unhealthy levels of toxic buildup and, in turn, inflammed
or irritated skin.|
When coal tar is mentioned, we
may think of a thick, black, and sticky substance with an
unpleasant chemical odour. In fact, coal tar soap washes
off easily leaving no residue, and its aroma is not too
overpowering or perfumey. On top of that, it's
affordable, too! We have received numerous reviews from
customers who have tried our soap for their psoriasis,
and they all agree that this soap has definitely helped
to relieve their condition. It's just become and
effective and very affordable part of their daily
Another product you may wish to
try is Psoriasis Formula by
TerraVita. As I mentioned above, the
origins of many
skin disorders are, in fact, internal. The ingredients,
, in this blend have been included
anti-inflammatory effects, their positive
effects on the lymph circulation, and their abilities to
promote perspiration and
Compromised lymph drainage has been shown to contribute
to psoriatic lesions on the skin. Many people have had
success relieving their stubborn skin ailments from the
inside out. My opinion is that an effective, whole-body
approach for any chronic skin ailment involves both
topical and internal attention.
I hope this helps!
Most soaps commonly available aren't that great for us - they are so full of chemicals and detergents that our body would almost be better off without them. We have a healthy non-toxic alternative...
Our bar soaps, liquid soaps and cleaners only use natural ingredients that don't remove body nutrients or harm the skin. They are perfect for sensitive skin, special needs, or a simple desire to clean naturally! And best of all, our soaps are made traditionally: by hand!
Our soaps are all natural, hypoallergenic, mild and gentle. All glycerine soaps are ideal for sensitive skin. They are totally organic, fully biodegradable and have not been tested on animals. They contain no perfumes, deodorants, preservatives, or artificial colours.

Love this soap!!
My husband suffers from severe psoriasis. Coal tar soap really eases the itching. Unfortunately coal tar products are not available in California so finding the soap online has been so wonderful. I would recommend anyone with this condition to try the soap from Zooscsape - it's fairly priced and very effective.

We have just started using coal tar soap. It lathered beautifully for my hair and left my hair feeling softer than ever before. My head didn't itch as frequently either. Good for coal tar soap.

My sister Jo has suffered from severe psoriasis for 27 years now. She's tried almost every product available to help alleviate the symptoms of this miserable condition. Recently I ordered some of your coal tar soap for her to try. Jo loves your soap and says it's the best product she's used to help relieve the itching and flaking of psoriasis. Keep up the good work :-D

After suffering from severe eczema for years, I tried this product and found almost instant relief. Within a week my eczema was gone completely. After using up my first bar I tried another brand that claimed to be tar soap, but within three days I was covered in eczema again. Soapworks coal tar soap is a miracle. Coal Tar Soap
I felt that the coal tar ingredient wasn't strong enough, but this is the only soap of it's kind that I can find.[Editor: It is also the only coal tar bar soap we can find! If we ever find another, you can be sure we will bring it to market for you!]
Also, the cost of the soap is OK, but the shipping cost is prohibitive.[Editor: You're right, soap is heavy, and shipping costs are positively correlated to weight.]

Great product...will reorder from you again soon, thanks much!!!!

I purchased the Tar Soap for the second time to use on my grandkids dog who had mange. The dog had been taken to several Vets, and in spite of expensive treatments the problem continued. The Tar Soap has cleared up the bald sites, and the dog looks great now, and for the first time in its life acts like a puppy, and happy dog. I had to re-order due to the fact the soap was shared with a friend who also had a dog with problems. Three cheers for Tar Soap.

Coal Tar Soap
I recently purchased Coal Tar soap for my 8 year old son who has psoriasis. We have been using the product for a couple of weeks now and his skin is already looking 100% better!! This soap truly helps his skin look better and it is clearing up the patches that he gets on his skin. It is hard to find a soap product that really works for his skin condition and this soap really works!!! It is very affordable and I plan on using it from now on. I am even trying it on myself and it seems to leave your skin feeling softer and smoother than regular soap. I would recommend this soap to anyone with psoriasis or anyone that just wants their skin to look and feel better. Thanks so much!!!

For 40 years I have used a face cream that contained 2% coal tar. I was told by the pharmacy that it is no longer available. I searched online and found this site and ordered the coal tar soap. It works as well as the cream. My face is as smooth as a baby's bottom. I recommend this soap to everyone. I will be a customer for life. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Coal Tar Soap For Skin Problems
Probably the most common use of coal tar soap is not for animals, but if you have a pet with skin problems I completely recommend, before you laugh up your sleeve to give it a try. My son had a young dog that had such severe skin problems she looked 'moth' eaten, if her coat had been wool. I ordered some soap from ZooScape thinking he had nothing to loose, and the Vets he had tried weren't helping the dog. In a few weeks her coat filled out, and she got frisky like a puppy she was feeling so much better. As long as they bathe her on a regular basis the coal tar soap is like a miracle drug for the dog, and her coat.

I highly recommend this soap. You don't just feel clean and soft afterward but it is finally healing my eczema. After 4 prescriptions from the doctor this soap is the first to work. I even wash my hair with it once a week and everyone has said my hair looks shiny and healthy. I will be a repeat customer that is for sure!!!
-- June 2, 2009
First soap that smells great, makes your skin so soft, and works with my exemca. Also works on my hair and everyone has commented my hair looks so shiny. I still use shampoo but once a week I wash with the soap and it has made a difference with skin and my hair. Ready to try it on my dog. :)
-- July 8, 2009
What can I say. This is my second time ordered and I will be a repeat customer. For years I spent money on lotions, soaps, and prescriptions that did little to clear my eczema. This works great, smells great, and my skin is close to healing.
I will continue to use if it clears totally as it just makes your skin feel so soft and the smell is great! I use it to wash my hair once a week and everyone has commented on healthy my hair looks too.
I am even going to try some when I wash my dog. :-)
