I dug some up from a friends garden. I discovered its growing habits here in middle Tennessee. I was surprised to see it wilt and die down after blooming and setting seeds, only to begin growing and flourishing in late Fall and Winter. At the first of December, 2007 it is growing quite well, having died back in Summer. It multiplies readily, sets seeds, then dies back. I really like it because it is so strange to me to see a plant strangely but actually GROW in Winter! | | | | | | | |
