Echinacea Used for colds, flus and respiratory infections. While many kinds of echinacea (or cone flower) exist, only three are used medicinally: Echinacea angustifolia (narrow-leaved purple cone flower), Echinacea purpurea (common purple cone flower) and Echinacea pcillida (pale purple cone flower).
